The B1 Apartment Building is the first of three stages in the construction of new apartment complexes rising near the natural park in Hostavice.
The B1 Apartment Building is a two-story building with a basement and third story that has been set back. The above-ground section is composed of two independent blocks with maximum dimensions of 108.20 m x 20.90 m; they are connected underground by a communal basement floor with 35 parking places. In the apartment building, there are 29 apartments and 12 commercial units, which are located along the main entry road.
The building’s structural system was designed using a combination of wall and column systems. The load-bearing walls from the 2nd floor will use brick block system; the ones in the basement and 1st floor will be entirely from reinforced concrete, as will be the individual ceiling panels. The building will have a flat roof with a minimal slope. The individual floors will be connected by two personal elevators and staircases. The garages join up to the exterior roadways via an angled entry ramp.
