Construction

A residential project arising as part of the transformation of the site of the former Libeň Docks.

Three newly constructed buildings – of nine that have been planned – comprise the first phase of a residential project arising from the transformation of the Libeň Docks site. Two five-floor and one six-floor buildings offer a total of 65 residential units meeting high standards – as well as garage parking in an underground lot. The group of houses is organized around a central service core and connected by a short junction to the external service road.

The building’s load-bearing construction uses reinforced concrete walls, which cross over into a brick system starting at the 3rd story. The horizontal load-bearing construction has been created on all floors by using a two-way reinforced concrete slab set onto walls and, in places, columns. The buildings are supported on foundations from large diameter bored piles. The facade uses an exterior insulation system treated with high-quality plaster whose structure includes abstract scratches, the details of which underscore the top coat of metallic paint.
