Project will guarantee drinking water supply within the next 30 to 40 years.
The project of the Holice community water supply system is a framework of water mains implemented in 11 locations (covering the area of 15 × 20 km), designed primarily for supplying drinking water in the region of Holice, i.e. approximately for 11,800 inhabitants. In the scope of works: 17.35 km of new water mains were built, 3.41 km were reconstructed and 4 new pumping stations were constructed.
The water system will guarantee drinking water supply within the next 30 to 40 years by enabling gradual replacing of local resources which tend to lose both the capacity and the water quality. It will concurrently allow increase in the number of citizens connected to the public water pipe system by 720 people.
