The WTP has the potential to become the main source of drinking water in the region of Hořice.
The refurbishment means the complex reconstruction of the technological line and related construction adjustment of current buildings on water treatment plant grounds.
The key part was construction of a new treated water accumulation in the volume of 500 m3 and the construction of a new sludge treatment line with machine sludge dewatering. The WTP reconstruction also included its equipping with measurement, regulation, controlling and information systems. The reconstruction was carried out during the full WTP operation and its new output is 30l/s. The water treatment plant has the potential to become the main source of drinking water for the entire Hořice region.
