After its completion, Zelena Louka Baking Plant is the most modern baking facility built “on a greenfield” in Central Europe.
It comprises a bread and pastry manufacturing hall, storage and dispatch halls, connecting corridor and the administrative area housing the management and control of the complex.
The manufacturing, storage and dispatch areas are situated in one-storey hall-like structures with the supporting pre-fab steel-reinforced concrete structure covered with a jacket of KINGSPAN sandwich panels. The floors are made of wire-reinforced concrete painted with epoxy coating.
A three-storey administrative part adjoins the manufacturing hall. Its supporting structure is also made of a steel-reinforced concrete skeleton and POROTHERM bricks. The building’s jacket is formed by a combination of insulated facade and LUXALON wall tiles.
The project also included construction of service lines, fencing, roads in the complex and their connection to the public road system, a waste water treatment plant, and a fire and retention tank.
