The French manufacturer of plastic components has expanded its operation in Central Europe and increased its production capacity in Slovakia.
The new factory building for the company Courbis has arisen on a greenfield site as part of the industrial zone in the Slovakian city of Sereď. In the building, polyurethane products will be manufactured for the automotive sector and other areas of industry.
In the first phase of the construction, a factory building was created that has an area of 2,090 m2 and includes sections for production and administration as well as technical facilities. All the exterior landscaping, media connections, and transportation routes were included in the project.
Innovative approach
An important factor for obtaining the commission was our active engagement in preparing the project documentation and the submission of a number of innovative solutions even in the phase of the competition's tender. Replacing the original design of the load-bearing steel construction with a precast framework, optimizing construction work, and other improvements made it possible to shorten the construction time significantly.
