Construction of the residential project Aldrov Apartments & Resort – a luxury residential complex in the Krkonoše Mountains – begins
A resort for sport and relaxation
The Aldrov Apartments & Resort project is being built in the immediate vicinity of the Aldrov ski area, which now offers five slopes and facilities for children’s skiing. Crescon has big plans for this location and is inspired by successful Alpine resorts in Austria, Germany and Switzerland. Accordingly, a wide range of outdoor sports facilities, a climbing wall, sports equipment rental and other related services are offered. Crescon plans to complete the resort for the 2022/2023 winter season.
A total of 12 buildings and 140 apartments with 1 to 4 rooms and living spaces of 37 to 119 m2 will be created. Each apartment will be supplemented by an underground car park and a cellar for seasonal equipment. The resort also has the services of a mountain hotel – reception, concierge service, wellness & spa, breakfast lounge, restaurant with wine bar or its own bakery.
High standard and experienced supplier
“All buildings were designed with a high standard of materials used and the execution of individual constructions. Therefore, we enjoy the confidence of the developer and its choice of VCES as the general contractor,” said Zdeněk Pokorný, CEO of VCES a.s. “We have experience in building residential and hotel projects for leading Czech developers and international hotel operators. In the past we have also carried out several similar projects in the Jeseníky Mountains, the Orlické Mountains (Eagle Mountains) and the Krkonoše (Giant Mountains). This way we can also cope with unfavorable climatic conditions,” added Zdeněk Pokorný.
Leisure apartments and investment opportunity
The mountain resort not only focuses on the recreation of its residents, but also offers the opportunity to make a profit by investing in the form of commercial rentals. “We expect the owners to come several times a year for their own stay. However, the apartment does not have to be empty for the rest of the time, it will be possible to rent it. In addition, the hotel service will take care of the rental and property management for the rest of the year,” says Jan Jerie, CEO of Crescon.
Architecture inspired by nature
The architectural and urban concept of the project was designed by the architect Aleš Žalský. “The architectural concept of the resort is based on traditional architecture from the Krkonoše. The houses will therefore have classic gable roofs and wooden facade cladding in natural shades. In particular, the classic materials stone and wood will be used, combined with modern elements such as large glazed window areas. High-quality natural materials will also be reflected in the interior design,” the author describes his project design.
