Mercedes-Benz Trucks Is Moving into New Offices

The company VCES has successfully completed a new administration building for Mercedes-Benz Trucks Czech Republic in Stodůlky, Prague. The dealer of premium heavy-duty vehicles has expanded its existing facilities by 700 m2 of office space and new display area. Increasing office capacity will make it possible to combine the Prague workplaces of Mercedes-Benz Trucks – in Chodov and Stodůlky – into one location.

Over the course of 12 months, VCES’s realization team constructed a four-story administrative building encompassing offices for 80 workers on the 1^st and 2^nd floors, a sitting area with amenities on the top floor, and technical facilities and a parking lot for 22 personal vehicles on the ground floor. The building is also surrounded by a new display area with surfaces of asphalt (1 900 m²) and interlocking concrete pavers (1 200 m²).

In the future, the office building will able to grow along with the company’s needs. Specifically, the project design also took into account additional increases in capacity. It includes the option of extending the top, set-back story to cover the entire ground plan and constructing one full and one set-back story. It would also be possible to construct another building next door that would be its mirror image.

JULIANA II – Residential Housing Below Bílá Hora in Brno

VCES is going to construct the next phase of the JULIANA project, which is the joint work of AVRIOINVEST, a developer from Brno and member of the AD GROUP, and the Slovak company Imagine Development. It builds on their successful cooperation on the previous phase of the project, which involved the construction of three apartment buildings in the popular city district of Brno-Juliánov. The construction works on the two new buildings will begin in spring 2022 and are scheduled for completion a year later.

VCES Building a New Hotel Complex in the Historic Centre of Prague

A new five-star hotel will be built next to the Old Town Square, intending to take advantage of the historic character of the area. The investor of this project, AKROTERION, has chosen a unique location in the heart of the city – between Celetná, Železná and Kamzíková streets – for its purpose. The new hotel will be created by redeveloping a complex of 8 historic buildings, which will eventually create a single unit while preserving the architecture and usefulness of all of the buildings. It will reflect the great variety of styles ranging from the Romanesque period through the Renaissance to the Baroque.
